The Capture of Jack the Ripper.

An English newspaper published the following news about the capture of the mysterious murderer of Whitechapel. A doctor, called Forbes Winslow, said he had complete assurance of the capture of Jack in a few days. Mr. Winslow says that he is in possession of a pair of Jack's boots, with soles of Indian rubber, and stained with the blood of his victims, as well as an overcoat, which he is sure belongs to the murderer, who was lodging at the home of a woman, and whose clothing (boots and coats) the man left in the house a few days after the discovery of the crime in Pinchin Street. The woman says that in the morning that the unfortunate woman, named Mackenzie was killed (July 17), she saw him washing his hands in the courtyard of the house. He was in shirtsleeves, and his eyes were looking around suspiciously. This was taking place at about four o'clock in the morning. Forbes Winslow has said that he is awaiting a telegram, which will resolve the only obstacle preventing the mysterious murderer from being delivered unto the hands of justice. He is also ensured that he had an accomplice, or that there were two authors of the crimes, and he has his reasons in believing so, but they cannot be disclosed. He said that the police do not have to intervene at all in his capture, he placed six men on the site were reduced to prison. These stories have unlikely overtones, and it looks to some as just a fantasy of Forbes Winslow, but the doctor trusts that he will do what the police could not, deliver justice to the mysterious murderer.
