Esther Hall

Post by Karen on Wed 25 May 2011 - 20:23

Esther Hall was an informer who gave information about a man who attacked Annie Farmer on November 21, 1888. This might be her status in 1879:

The will of Charles Radclyffe Hall, M.D., late of Torquay, who died on March 21 last, has been proved under 90,000 pounds. The testator gives to his wife, Mrs. Esther Hall, who is otherwise amply provided for, all the cash at his bankers, to the extent of 500 pounds, and his residence, with the furniture and effects. There are bequests to his brothers, sisters, and others, and a devise of all his real estate to his said son; the residue of the personalty is to be held upon trust for his son for life, and then for his children, as he shall by deed or will appoint.
