Count Kosminski
In 18th Century Poland, a Count Kosminski is recorded as owning the town of Wronke. This was found in a London newspaper from 1768!
Warfaw, Oct. 13. Laft Monday about 20 Confederates of Ellieski's Party appeared at Wronke, a Town three Miles from Fielehn, fituated on the Warte, and belonging to Count Kosminski. They have carried off 30 Uniforms, Arms, and Saddles, together with the Bailiff of Neudorff. In their Road they loft 300 Ducats, and threatened to fet fire to the Village if the Money was not reftored. The Inhabitants, who had fuffered by feveral Fires, had great Difficulty to collect the Sum, which was at laft found by a Shepherd's Daughter at Neudorff, who was generous enough to reftore it.
