Masonic Knights Templar Fraternity

Post by Karen on Tue 5 Apr 2011 - 15:10

Someone from the Ripper Study Community once asked me what Knights Templars have to do with Freemasons in a vain attempt to try to disassociate the two organizations. They are one and the same organization - Freemasons are a branch or an extension of the Knights Templars. They formed after the suppression of the Templars.

I found this announcement in a Canadian newspaper:

One of the great Masonic events of this year will be the meeting of the Masonic Knights Templar Fraternity in Boston the last week of this month, the occasion being the tri-annual meeting of that body, and commanderies from every State in the Union and Canada will be present.

With all due respect ANYONE can start a chapter or club and call it Knights Templar but that does not mean that it is in anyway connected to the original Knights Templar. Many others have made the claim that the Masons are an extension of the Knights Templar of old but they are all sorely lacking in one thing....proof.
